Juggling between work, family, and other commitments, stress is inevitable to come. And it’s normal it is not something that can kill you…LOL but still stress is something that can turn your life upside down. So, let’s have a look at some of the tips that can help you to deal with stress up to a great extent.

Here I present to you 10 ways to cope with your stress.

1. Play with Children & Pets.

Child and pets are cute, immensely cute, and can really make your mood. If you’re feeling stress then try playing with child or pets. it will really help you. The cute stuff they do is enough to help you release your stress.

In case you don’t have a child or a pet then you can try watching funny videos on youtube, just search for funny child or pet videos on Instagram or video.

2. Go for a Walk.

If your day has been hectic then a good walk in the park is something that will chill out your mind snd will also help you understand yourself better. I personally think that its the best way to release stress.

Put on your jogger, and just head for the park. It will make you feel way better. Now it’s on you whether you want to go alone or with someone. I personally like to go alone.

3. Do Exercise.

Working out regularly is one of the best ways to relax your body and mind. Plus, exercise will improve your mood. But you have to do it often for it to pay off.

So how much should you exercise every week?

Work up to 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderately intense exercise like brisk walks or 75 minutes of a more vigorous exercise like swimming laps, jogging or other sports.

Focus on setting fitness goals you can meet so you don’t give up. Most of all remember that doing any exercise is better than none at all.

4. Know Yourself

Try to stay alone for an hour and try to figure out yourself. You’ll be surprised how much better you feel once you do that. You will feel motivated and calm. Just follow these 5 steps:

  1. Sit in a comfortable position with your hands in your lap and your feet on the floor. Or you can lie down.
  2. Close your eyes.
  3. Imagine yourself in a relaxing place. It can be on the beach, in a beautiful field of grass, or anywhere that gives you a peaceful feeling.
  4. Think about what things you want to achieve in life and what are major constraints in it.
  5. Do this for 5 to 10 minutes daily.

It is my favorite way to deal with stress.

5. Take a Break

You need to plan on some real downtime to give your mind time off from stress. If you’re a person who likes to set goals, this may be hard for you at first. But stick with it and you’ll look forward to these moments. Restful things you can do include:

  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Listening to your favorite music
  • Spending time in nature

6. Listen to Songs

One of the best ways to deal with stress is by listening to songs. Faster music can make you feel more alert and concentrate better. Upbeat music can make you feel more optimistic and positive about life. A slower tempo can quiet your mind and relax your muscles, making you feel soothed while releasing the stress of the day.
